We will never call a fetus, “uncooperative” because there is no such thing as an uncooperative fetus. Little people behave appropriately and expectedly. They feel what mom feels. Pregnancy is a roller coaster of EMOTIONS some more wonderful than others but all very necessary and exciting, confusing and explosive at times too. The fetus is flooded with a wide range of emotions, all of which are necessary and essential for normal growth and development. The female, hormonal roller coaster is only experience by mom and appreciated and tolerated by those who love, support and come in contact with her. A great example of hormone level is when somebody that mom loves touches her belly and the baby kicks. Glands will immediately and simultaneously secrete “feel good” hormones. Mom and baby will have a boost of energy. On the other hand, if mom is touched unwillingly her glands will secrete “not happy” hormones which will deplete energy and the baby will curl up and hide. The fetus will have this same reaction with any negative emotion that mom may experience and it can be caused by as little as her or guest running late, unexpected gender revealed or having to hold her bladder for an ultrasound session.
