Applebee's on Main Street has made a complete turn around since the new management has taken over. The family friendly atmosphere is evident.They are back on track, love this place.

Having eaten at many Applebee's, we thought it would be a safe bet and a good place to take the kids once we moved to Summerville, SC area...WRONG! Never had a worse restaurant experience. Dirty and dingy facility...and workers! I really don't want to be greeted by a hostess with a nose ring in front nostrils, crumpled and dingy clothing! And what restaurant is "out of milk"??? When we asked the waitress what she recommended...she said, "Oh...I don't eat here!" Big clue. Down hill from there...order took forever and food was AWFUL! The only good thing was the electronic game on the table that kept the kids entertained throughout the nightmare...and it looked filthy, too. Don't take your family to THIS Applebee's!!!

Are you kidding me what is the point of having online ordering to go if I have to wait 32 minutes and then walk myself inside to get my food when I place an online order and can choose a time that I would like to pick it up it should be ready when it says it's going to be ready I walked into Applebee's at 6:32 when I place my order to be picked up at 6 o'clock and I placed my order at 5:30 so plenty of time to whip up to burgers and a kids meal walked into Applebee's was completely ignored for the first five minutes that I was standing there then was held for a second by someone saying all I know your orders in the back I didn't even know I had it it just got thrown in somehow waited another 10 minutes for her to walk past me three times stop and look at me again and say oh that's right your order this is absolutely ridiculous I paid $50 for food that is cold at this point and the service is god awful there is no kind of organization in this restaurant it wasn't even busy they had no excuse of why I was way I was waiting for so long for two burgers a kids meal and an appetizer absolutely ludicrous I will not be eating anything at Applebee's again

My family and I love Applebee’s on Main Street in Summerville. The servers are very friendly, fast paced, and always go out of their way to make sure everything is to your satisfaction. I would say less than twenty minutes of being seated, we had all the food and drinks served to us. The appetizers and meals are always delicious. It is best to visit between 1pm-4pm otherwise; almost every restraunt in town, including Applebee’s, is crowded for the lunch and dinner crowds. My teenage son is a meticulous eater but he loves eating at this particular Applebee’s. I give them five stars. I highly recommend parents bringing their adolescents here, come for Business luncheons or for a good time out with friends.

I have been to Applebee's in Shelby NC,they accomedated me being in a wheelchair,The Applebee's in Summerville SC,was horrible.It was very busy,the wait was entirely too long,over 1/2 an hour,we had a large group,7 adults and two children,we asked for a smoking area table,which we didn't get! We had to wait while others with 4 people were seated and left before we were seated.They were told that we would be happy with two separate tables,they would call our name and say they had 1 open and as soon as the table next to it was empty we would than be seated,well, we waited and then the table in the non smoking area came up,it took20 mins to even place the order,yep we got our drinks fine,then after waiting another 20 minutes the first 3 plates were brought out,then a few minutes later 2 more,mine was last,I have had the beef fajitas at the Shelby Applebees,and when it was brought to me it was nice and hot,in Summerville SC it was cold,it was not an enjoyable dinner.I nor will anyone in MY FAMILY ever step in to that one again,The reason we went there is that I really enjoyed the Shelby location,had a $50 gift card and it was to celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary..Oh how I felt like a fool when the service was so very bad....Thank you for allowing this review,but NO THANKS to ever returning to Summerville,SC..
