I have used Southwest Irrigation Systems on several occasions. They are always prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The office staff are highly informed and engaged , thus making calls to the office pleasurable. I highly recommend using Peter Hudson and his crew at SWIS for your Irrigation needs.

Southwest Irrigation did an excellent job on our control panel and sprinkler head repair. They called before arriving and arrived 17 minutes before their scheduled time and were very courteous and quick. They did not waste any unnecessary time and provided a full and detailed review of what was wrong and needed to be fixed. They diagnosed not only the main problem but also the potential problem with our irrigation system and were able to provide realistic alternatives on how to fix it quickly. I also read the lone negative review before I called them but I am very glad that I gave them a chance and I was not disappointed. The staff at their office was also very nice with the appointment (Krista and Lindsay) and their representatives Joshua and Jeb did an excellent job while they were out here at our home.

I live in Sugar Land and called other companies as well before I decided on Southwest, but a lot of the other companies did not pick up or call back. The only people who called me back said that Sugar Land was too far for them to come out. I am a female and had to get all this done on my own and did not want to get screwed over by any contractors but these guys accommodated me quickly and honestly and did not over charge me. I did not see them stand around and waste anytime unlike the other reviewer.

I would recommend this company to everyone, especially if you have a residential problem that needs a quick fix and you just dont know where to go about getting it done without being ripped off.

Southwest charges 99 dollars for the first hour but i was given a discount due to a scheduling problem.

Not recommended. Overcharges and works slow to charge by the hour. 2 hours job took 4 hours. $591 to replace 3 sprinkler celluloids (2 right next to each other).

Good work, but not good customer service. Southwest irrigation systems installed a drainage system for me. The told me I needed three catch basins in the backyard. Two along the middle of the backyard and one in front of the fence door. Problem is they did not map out on paper where the catch basins were supposed to go. When they came back two months after the quote to install, they forgot where the drains were supposed to go. They called me while at work and asked if one catch basin was supposed to go in front of the back door. By that I thought they meant the back door of my house, not the FENCE door, so I said no. When I got home, all three were in the middle of the yard. I really needed one at fence door. So I called them to see if they could install another, they said they could but for FULL price. I really needed it, so I agreed but was not happy.



To add to this, when they came to install the last catch basin, they did not have a trailer, so could not carry away the extra dirt.



On a positive note, the drainage system does work well. All my problems with them could have been avoided if they have made a simple drawing and gotten sign off on where the catch basins were supposed to go. Especially since because of their own back log, they were not going to install the system until two months later. To me this was unprofessional, so I would not use them again.

I have used numerous sprinkler companies before, and I am most impressed with Southwest Irrigation Services. The girls in the office are always very helpful, and the technicians are great! I don't have a bad word to say about their service or work. I am happy to say they are my new perminate sprinkler company!
