This facility is understaffed and some staff members seem untrained. My grandmother has been there for only 3wks and has already sustained 2 fall injuries and deyhdration, all of which required hopspitalization. Her initial evaluation deemed her needing more assistance than the average resident due to a recent stroke. According to Whitestone's adimistrators, they are in ratio of care...then can someone explain how a women who has a complete one sided deficit is left in a chair without observation in her room when she is high risk for a fall as stated on the bracelet they placed her wrist. Our family ignored warnings from previous patients and family members about the lack of nurses and techs and skill of staff due to the cosmetic impression of the facility made. Please listen to this review and take this serious. Do not risk the life of your loved one because of cosmetic reasons or convenience. This facility should be closed by the state according to our experience and others.
