Skyward develops student, budgetary and human resource administrative software exclusively for K-12, public and private school districts. The company was incorporated in 1984 as School Administration Software. Skyward's School Management Systems are found in more than 1,000 districts throughout the United States not including Washington. The company provides engineering support for local area and wide area computer networks. Skyward's field engineers oversee technical concerns for customers, making Skyward a complete service and data management solutions provider. The company staffs five regional offices located in Stevens Point, Wis.; St. Cloud, Minn.; Bloomington, Ill.; Lansing, Mich.; and Austin, Texas. The offices employ more than 160 technical and support specialists. Skyward maintains its corporate headquarters in the office in Stevens Point.
