Horrible lawyer - he has been disciplined by the Virginia State Bar. I didn't know how bad he was when I hired him. The only work he did on my case was when he deposited my check in his bank account. It was stunning how little he did - he misfiled the court date - and it took a full year to get a court date after that. He let the opposing lawyers write the proposals - and acted shocked when the proposal was written in direct opposition to what I needed. It was stunning how shockingly bad Mr. Bean was - run from this man. Very bad lawyer.

Lorenzo Bean is not a good lawyer. BEWARE! He handled two cases for me - he messed up the first one - but blamed it on the other lawyer, so I didn't realize it was his fault. The second time I used him he made the same mistakes - and blamed it on my ex's lawyer - but this time I asked questions and found out it was all Lorenzo's fault. The only work Mr. Bean did in my case was taking the check I gave him to the bank - after that he had no interest in my case. He let my ex's lawyer write every proposal - didn't read what my ex's lawyer wrote before sending it to me - and I was the one who caught the errors before I signed it. He took seventeen months to get a simple child support increase - and I fired him because he never succeeded in getting the proposal written - AFTER a year and a half! I fired him finally and asked for an accounting - a bill and a refund - he never sent me a bill and just kept all the money. Shocking really.
