Well this is the 2nd time I have had a dire situation with my dog that I have not been able to get in. My dog passed away last night and I feel if we could have been on top of this maybe this could have changed. I called Tuesday at 8:00 to find out that I should have called at 6:00. Who knew. Was told they were filled. My dog had been seen by Dr. Griffin for many years and she knew his case well and it would have been better if he could have been seen by a vet that knew the history of his problem. I left 2 messages but she never got back with me till 6:30pm. Said she never saw the message. I don’t blame her. I blame who runs that office. I ended up somewhere else and this situation became irresolvable. If this had been just the first time but this is an ongoing problem. I love Dr. Griffin she is the best, but Dr. Wilson’s business model needs to be reassessed. I loved this place years ago, but truly need to look elsewhere. I have been a loyal and committed customer and have spent hundreds if not thousands of dollars with them but feel I need an office that can be there when I need them. I would always have Dr. Griffin as my vet if she were at a vet clinic I could ever get into when it is needed most.

Absolutely horrific. Wish we could give 0 Stars. Below is a portion of a letter we sent after our experience with the loss of our dog, Jax. Never got a doctor to respond. Even after we lost our dog, they sent us a reminder postcard for a well-check. Horrible!!!!

I am working with my second service dog and this is the only vet I would use in the tricounty area. Staff is friendly, docs are knowledgeable, and doc Wilson is a board certified orthopedic surgeon. Fair pricing and a committed staff. Had to euthanize a dog a nd I am in my 60's it was the best of a bad situation. Would give them 6 stars if I could !!

Been using this clinic for years , Dr. Wilson did a great job on my dog's surgery , but over the last year I've seen a huge decline. Techs are clueless and rude . They will leave you unattended in a room for an hour . They almost killed my Yorkie poo with their incompetence. A simple blood draw was almost disasterous , when they drew from the neck and they didn't watch the site . His collar was on and in minutes he had a hard time breathing . Last surgery resulted in a second surgery ... They were sorry ... Yea right ... Would not recommend

My fiance and I have been using this clinic for almost 3 years now. When we brought home our (now) 2 1/2 year old Pitbull puppy at only 6 weeks old, Dr. Booth was the reason we conitnued to use this clinic. He was very friendly and attentive to all of Beau's needs and was extremely pleasant to us and our little puppy. We used to brag about this clinic to all of our friends and recommended this office to all of our friends who are pet parents. However, within the last year, (after Dr. Booth left this location) we have not received the wonderful service that we were so accustomed to. Aside from the extremely long waiting time to see a doctor, we have not found another doctor at this location that has made us feel comfortable or even taken the time to listen to our concerns or answer any questions. The doctors always seem to be in a rush, resulting in feeling as though we are a bother rather than a welcomed and appreciated customer. During our last visit a few days ago, we arrived 15 minutes early for our appointment. After sitting in an exam room for over 45 minutes without seeing a doctor, or even being acknowleged by the staff, we decided to leave. No attempts were made to keep us from leaving, nor were we even questioned as to why. We have decided to look for another veterinary clinic where our business is appreciated and we know that Beau's needs will be met. I am sorry to say that I would not recommed this veterinary clinic to anyone who is seeking above-average pet care.

They are so WONDERUL! the doctors have such passion for every animal that walks in, they really want to help animals. what I also like about the doctors there is, they not only care about the pets but they also care about the people who bring in their pets. Their patient. Sincere. and very respectful. They WANT the best for each animal and they work so hard. The receptionists are also very sweet and understanding. The prices are very reasonable and not off the wall like the last vet I just recently left for this amazing animal clinic. Thank you Sterling Heights Animal Clinic!!! for caring about my pets and working so hard to get the best results!!!!

They have another location up in Romeo (Wilson Veterinary Hospital). Both places are very nice and CLEAN. I wouldn't go anywhere else. We used to live up near Romeo, so we started off at Wilson. I prefer that location to this one. Dr.'s John and Jeremy Kreiger are awesome; I always request them.

Animal Clinic has several wonderful vets; however getting to see them takes forever! Back when they were in the smaller clinic next door they seemed more caring and understanding. My worst experience was when I took my cat there that is very loving and she licked the Doctor...she got a smack in the face and I was told she needed to learn manners. When you call them to make an appointment you stay on hold for ten minutes even if it is an emergency. When you do need to get in for an emergency there is never any time and they tell you to go to the Romeo office. If you get to see Dr. Wilson or Dr. Lions they are the best just be sure you have time to wait!!!

I reccomend this vet to everyone I know. Everything about this office is great. The people, the prices, the care are outstanding!

I know of two other peole that have had GREAT service here at a resonable price. My old regular vet said $2000-$3000 for a surgery. I got it here under $1000.00 with fantastic results. THANKS!
