They put in a new unit in Oct. Repairman tore out my ceiling and on his way out the door said "you might want to close that up."''



They were going to be back the next week to do some additional work. They "forgot" but set up another appt. They didn't show up for that one either. Owner said worker quit, but he would come out the next week himself. Never did. Called, again next week, same thing....I gave up.



Had another company come out who said the unit had been installed wrong. The gas vent wasn't vented out of the attic dumping carbon monoxide in the house had we used it. There was no outside air source provided for the gas furnace. I called them on this and they said "We'll be out Thurs." Thurs afternoon I called and owner says "I thought it was Fri." Fri he was supposed to be out at 3:00 (keep in mind I take off each time to be here to meet them). at 2:30 called to make SURE he was going to be at 3:00, he said yes. At 3:00, he calls to ask if we live in Dallas... 4 hours away?? I have doubts this is going to be resolved by them.



I fully believe the owner must have Alzheimer.

We used Daystar this last summer... they misdiagnosed our unit, the repair guy was on the phone with a friend asking him questions about our type of unit the entire time he was here...he then took the fan off of our unit and then began the long, hot wait. We waited for 3 weeks all the while be told that the part was unavailable for purchase, during the hottest part of July. We were patient for 2 weeks while they gave us the run around... we then located the part ourselves... they finally picked it up in ft. worth and, with the help of a friend on the phone, the guy installed the fan... the unit still didn't work... we called another repair person, Jessie's, and they came over, checked the freon and found it low...they put some freon in... threw a switch and it began to work... Miracle on the part of Jessie's... I think not...Incompetence on the part of Dayster?...well you can think for yourself... We will never call this company again...
