Scheduled an appointment for a repair weeks in advance. Had spotty communication up to the scheduled date.

No show and no call. I drove a long way to meet him only to wait quite a while before I called him to find out he wasn't coming. I can't even rate a single star on professionalism, promptness, and expertise.

On time for estimate and repairs. Work very well done in quick time. Cost was very, very fair. Will use again for future needs. These people are real pros.

I used Feathers Roofing two years ago. Kevin asked if I would want my landscaping trimmed. I wasn't living here at the time, and he stole a good half of my front yard's landscaping, which included: irises, day lillies, a 20' high butterfly bush (roots and all), lambs ears, 100' square feet of periwinkle, and a Tiffany rose bush. When I called about it, his wife said (because Kevin is too scared to talk to a disgruntled customer) that someone else must have done it. Really? After Kevin said his best friend works for Horton's Nursery??? Also, I paid $300 for gutter guards that are not there. He's a complete con man.

I had torn my own roof off and left quite a mess. Decided to let someone else put on my shingles since the heat was unbearable. This all happened on a Sunday on Memorial day weekend. I called feathers and Wayne the owner came out on that same day and have me a very reasonable estimate to finish the roof and take clean up my mess of shingles and nails. He said he would be there Tuesday at 730am and it should take half a day. He was there exactly at 730 and by 2 his great crew had done everything Wayne had promised and did a great clean up job. I would recommend him to anyone who needs work done. Great experience!

Beware of the son of this operation. Who knows if I really have gutter guards. He stole half of my front yard's landscaping under the guise of "trimming it up." Well, it not only got trimmed, it got removed, roots and all. He took: a 30-foot butterfly bush, many daylilies, about 30 lambs' ear plants, 1 Tiffany rose bush, and all the mulch off of my walkways. This guy is too cowardly to address the theft. Stay clear of this guy's good intentions. I asked him about the missing plants, and he told me he would go with me to his best buddy's nursery so we could buy more plants. I wouldn't even give this operation one star, but that's not an option.

WARNING, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They will tell you there is a two year warranty on the repair and even give you a receipt with it written on there. A week later when you call them about your leaking roof you will get no response. When you do finally get in touch with the owner he will try to get out of the warranty and start talking about charging you more money. They are not BBB.org accredited and now I know why. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

I was very pleased with my overall experience, and will always call Feathers And Sons when I need anything, they were all wonderful, and we were very pleased..
