"I have hired a number of painters over the years (decades actually) for both residential and Linda commercial work, and I believe Mauricio Esperon is the best I have known. Though I have not yet gone to him for a large project, I will not hesitate to employee his services for the exterior of my two-story house when the need arises. I have seen his treatment on the exterior and interior of several jobs ranging from modest sized residential properties to superb restoration of the much larger Victorian. As an actual artist, Mauricio showed taste and aesthetic judgment in making suggestions, matching new tints in colors with old, and bringing to a project (such as restoring vintage kitchen cabinets) both energy and imagination. No amount of detail is too tedious, and he is meticulous in controlling dust and fumes with interior screens and leaving the site cleaner than he found it. He has helped me with two kitchen projects as well as bathroom drywall. Add to this, I can leave the man in my house to do his work and trust him with anything we have...come back and the job is done. He buys supplies, provides all receipts, and tacks on nothing extra for his errands. Mauricio is not the lowest price painter; neither is he the priciest. Quite simply, for the quality he offers, for his speed and alacrity and his complete honesty and dependability, he offers the kind of value that we typically call a bargain.
