The West Shore Little League is a nonprofit group that coaches boys and girls in baseball and softball. Founded in 1959, the league also provides baseball and softball clinics for children. It has T-Ball, farm, major and minor league divisions. West Shore Little League is affiliated with the international Little League program. Little League is one of the largest youth sports organizations in the world, with more than 2.5 million boys and girls participating. The West Shore Little League has registrations in the spring, and plays a schedule of games into the month of June. The West Shore Little League also owns a T-Ball field and is located in Staten Island, N.Y.
