What are the costs? Know your price before the move. As mentioned above, if time permits and you have more than four rooms of furniture we strongly recommend a free in home estimate. It's all inclusive and the price is put in writing. When it comes to hourly rated moves some companies, promise a low hourly rate and then hit you with a fee or charge for just about everything you can think of and a few you never dreamed of. No hidden charges at Verrazano Moving. You pay the hourly rate and travel time (depending on where you are moving). We do not charge extra for stairs, elevators, weekends or holidays. We do not charge for tape, disassembly or reassembly. If you have lamps, flat screen televisions or items that require special handling please advice us before the move. We will explain any additional charges that may apply in detail and more importantly, the crew will have the equipment and material loaded on the night before. We don't like surprises either!
