She very rude she just wants money
She doesn't respect the people that keep her business alive don't waste ur time

NYDC has changed for the better since I've been. The studio is now improved not only its appearance but learning enviornment with new teachers who bring unique/fresh choreography to the table. Pay your bill on time because if you don't, than that's your fault, not the studio. I know how hard the staff works and I admire them dearly. This studio is great, cant say a bad thing about it.

Not worth the time

I took classes here for a year and I must say that I feel like I haven't learned a thing. The teaching is sub-par, along with the students and choreography given to perform. They boast about being in business for 20 years- it shows! The studio is falling apart, as the owner fails to make any real repairs, and its really small, hardly any room for a large class. As for the recital, it was terrible. Mostly everyone was unprepared, not to mention that my dance instructor had just finished choreographing my class's dance one week before the show! I find this unacceptable. I would give only one star, but the one thing I found nice here were the students I had class with. I would definitely recommend going somewhere else, bigger and in better shape, with better instructors. The only reason why I chose this place is because I live in the neighborhood and I know many people who went here, but have all left for the same reason.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR $$$$!!!!! NYDC is a joke. Trust me, I have wasted nine years of my life there. All they care about is if you've paid on time. Especially, Lisa. she has no idea what she's doing. And if you're looking for your kid to be good? Ha yeah right. The older girls can't even do their fortes. The instructors pick favorites, and even talk about each other behind each others back. They are probably the worst dance studio in staten island. Hip hop is amazing and so is acrobats. Everything is nice except if you're being taught by ms Lisa. Don't do it pleassseeees #mslisasucksss

The prices are affordable. The staff are pleasant. My daughter is just 5 years old and I see the instructor exerting a tremendous amount of patience with the little ones. I have not had any negative experience with them in regards to payment and this may be because I PAY ON TIME. I would recommend NY Dance Co. for your little ones.

However, if I was trying to get into the Russian Ballet I would probably be digging much deeper in my pockets for a more talented instructor.

This was our first year at this dancing school and my daughter can't wait to go back. They are very family oriented and not pretentious as most Staten Island schools are. The staff is very pleasant to both parents and the students. I also like the fact that their teachers are young and know whats going on . This is the first time I saw real hip hop being done! The one thing that kept me from 5 stars is the occasional last minute fix ups other wise we had a very pleasant experience!

Dont wast your $$$$ ..The teachers are unprofessional and RUDe.They all care about is if you paid on time...the dance routines are OUTDATED and WEAK.Please what ever you do, dont send your child to this dance school , you will regret it,we have waste or kids time,$$$$, and hopes on this school.I wish i can give an 1/2 a star.

This is a great school if you want to deal with catty moms having fist fights in the waiting room, or subjecting your kids to traps that have been set out in plain site for pests. The dance routines are sub par at best for the prices being charged. I suggest you shop around before signing up with any school, especially when you're considering NY Dance.
