I live in bay ridge brooklyn near some of the best resturants in brooklyn.About 4years ago i went with friends to bocellis for the first time.we were greeted by the chef and owner who was very nice and made us feel right at home. . The food was exellent and so was the service. by the end of the meal we said we will be back and we have been almost every week for the past 4 years. try it you wont be sorry. plus the resturant is beautiful.

This has got to be the best italian restaurant on Staten Island and there are many to compare it to. Unfortunitly, the word is out and good luck getting a seat during dinner hours on a weekend night. I think its about time the owners expand, hopefully by putting a Bocellis II close to my house. The place is too small for the calibur of restaurant and they need a new venue. Also, it is as if they have too many "favorite customers" because they will have many empty tables, seat you at the worst one in the room, when you had reservations from 2 days before. Good luck trying to just walk in and have a meal too, reservations are a must and if you have a special occasion such as an adult birthday, make your reservation 2-3 days in advance or kiss the bocellis idea goodbye.



The food is excellent 10 out of 10, the waiters in my expirence are excellent 10 out of 10, but the establishment needs to grow into a new, bigger shell to meet the demand. Again, closer to me. =)
