We don't get a lot of professional work done for our dog Gwen because she stresses out about it. But we have to do her nails, and she refuses to sit still for us. We've been told by most of the "usual suspects" that she's too high-strung or nervous and fights too much so we "have to take her to the vet" to get them done because they're not equipped to deal with her. Then we found Sittin' Pretty. They are fantastic with her, and they know how to handle her stress. She still doesn't enjoy it, but she doesn't whine all the way there and back. They treat her right, and she's even calming down a little bit about it. They cost a little more than Petsmart or PetCo, but I'm willing to pay a few extra dollars per visit if it means our girl is going to get better treatment and better understood by her groomers.

Only reason I couldn't give them 5 stars is because of their price. Got our dogs groomed here for the first time and paid $120 for a wash, a cut, deglanding, nail trim, and ear cleaning. However, they did a great job on my pups. No bloody nips or cuts on either of them. A very friendly and cozy atmosphere. The people were friendly and welcoming, and my pups didnt seem anxious at all like they normally get at grooming places. Just wish their price can lower some, I'd like to go back to them again.
