They finished up a 3 day job on August 11th 2020, had mold in crawl space due to sump pump failure about 2 years ago. They removed grossly contaminated insulation, dried it out and cleaned, scrubbed all affected floor joists with a disinfectant cleaner, fogged the crawlspace with Mediclean Disinfectant Spray Plus a product approved by the EPA. Encapsulated the area with a full Defense Fungicidal Coating that will kill mold/mildew and inhibit the future growth of mold and mildew. Install new R19 fiberglass insulation.
Install 3 new crawlspace window wells that were below ground to keep out water and put gravel in them to stop plant growth.
Finally install a 6 mil vapor barrier over ground of crawlspace to keep above floor joists dry.
Total cost of project $3470 which was not an estimate.
