ABSOLUTE WORST HOME BUILDER in Stafford County, Virginia. Purchased a new home in 2012, appliances didn't last a year, had to replace my wood deck, house wiring not done to code, driveway asphalt is cracking, erosion problems because lot was not graded properly, water heater lasted one year, framing not done to code, I could go on and on. I am rebuilding my house over again properly, paid 450,000 dollars, I was a fool to believe their hype. Run away from this builder.

Run from them as far as you can! If you deal with them you will Guarantee Regret. Manipulative and swindle your money! Their new name is JBR Const.

This builder appears to be ok until you sign the papers and hand over the check. Once the property is yours, they are of zero help when it comes to any inquiries about anything in the home and I'm talking simple requests. It's quite apparent this builder does not want repeat business or referrals. Expected more from a "local" only builder.. no different than any of the larger builders who only care about the bottom line.... making a sale.

This builder is terrible! We moved to Stafford from Colorado. We had to try and select possible home sites on the internet. When we came here to look at those sites we had 2 days to make decisions. The salesman, Justin, is very nice and makes you think this is a good decision you're making allowing people who have worked in Stafford county for 20+ years build a home for you. It is not a good idea. It is a bad, bad, bad idea. The people in charge of building the homes are incompetent. The people building the homes are day laborers with minimal skills. My husband had to teach the woman doing the stain in our home how to do it! She didn't know to wipe the stain off after it had set for a few minutes. She was applying it and just leaving it there. The banister swelled and looked just awful. Then, when we pointed out how awful it was, they tried to tell us that we didn't know what we were talking about. (My husband builds furniture in his spare time.) I'm writing this now because my husband has taken 6 days of work off over the last 6 weeks trying to be here for appointments and NOTHING has gotten done. We have a hole in our formal dining room where- for 6 weeks- the drywall hasn't been repaired from where they made a hole to fix the vent that wasn't attached and didn't vent. It's been one fight and disappointment after another. Save yourself a lot of headache and go to a national builder. We had a D.R. Horton home in Colorado and NEVER had these kinds of troubles. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. (except to my husband's ex-wife.)
