The one thing that disappointed me was the type of people they allow in the area. I was very discomforted when my family and I came in to eat, and was stared at as if they have never seen a latino in their life. My mother was very jumpy the whole time but at least the server was okay, and the food was mediocre.

The food my wife got was okay, but as a food reviewer I had to say that the fish was not fresh at all. It tasted of freezer burn as soon as I took a few bites. The atmosphere was okay, but the seats were flithy, the decorations dated, and had nothing besides background noise to keep me waiting one hour for my food. Disappointed.

Took forever for the food to arrive, I pretty much wanted to leave at the end I lost my hunger and was rather upset.

Can't say enough good things about Papa Jake's! The hubby and I frequent this establishment on a regular basis, and we enjoy ourselves every time we're there. Whether you're looking for a night out with friends at their huge, sports-style (fun) bar, or a dinner outing on their family friendly restaurant side, you're sure to enjoy yourself here. Both their food and drinks are great, are reasonably priced, and their wait staff is always pleasant. Just passing through Springville? This is a must-stop place if you find yourslef hungry or thirsty!
