Worst company I have ever had to deal with. With no communication. My snow blower was not working and I called BLR in June to come and pick up for repair. He called me and sais he had to order a part... This took a few months. Now it is done and I am still waiting to get it back... I have emailed and called many times and no response. I just wrote off my snow blower as a loss. It is not worth getting back. It was a $350.00 snow blower and BLR wants $250.00 for the repairs... This price for repair was not the issue it was the lack of response. I will never use this company again or recommend them to anyone.

I went to these guys to get a handle put back on a 2 cycle leaf blower. I had the replacement parts, which were bolts with rubber vibration dampeners that I had ordered from Poulan/Weedeater. I get to the counter and start asking to man working about getting it fixed, when another, older guy (owner?) comes up and abruptly barks out how "we don't do those anymore!" He says it a few times, with absolutely zero tact or explanation. He's all in a huff, and I figure that the job may be fairly involved, and ask if that was the reason they wouldn't do it. Come to find out (thanks to the other man) you have to take the carburetor off, then the cover, so yes, it is a pain. Too bad Mr. Huffy couldn't have explained it that way. You would have thought there was a line out the door with the speed he ran me off. (I was the only customer there).

Lorne Campell, you have been posting “negative” reviews on just about every social media. I do caution you that you need to be accurate in your write-ups and we ask you to kindly reword correctly. If anyone would like the “disputable facts” we can provide a documented internet based log. The dates that you are claiming are completely false, including portrayal of the story. The police officer was called due to your inappropriate behavior and hostile actions toward the delivery driver, who called for his own safety. The police officer also had concerns with your behavior, and asked if you had issues; which is documented as well. You are truly the first customer that believes that payment is not due upon services which no other customer has ever done. When you buy groceries or gasoline, do you mail them a check after they provide you with a good [service]? Lastly, if you need “help” there are agencies that can assist you - aside from this dispute; I hope you seek the necessary assistance. As for the dates, the invoices were emailed and time/date stamped with numerous calls to your residence. Now you are claiming that you mailed us a check that we cashed. Bank of America has no record of any check with your name being deposited. Please get help.

Just had a VERY weird experience with Burke's...Let me say, this was my experience - yours may be better. At the end of Summer 2012, I called Burke's (found online) for service of my ride-on-mower, and ,my generator. They were helpful, and quickly scheduled a pickup of both items - all went smoothly. Within a few weeks, my mower was back cleaned (they said nothing was wrong) - but the Generator would take longer. OK, so they had it 9/5/2013... and I called through Nov, but it was never ready. I called before Sandy hit - not ready. I finally get a message from them 12/27/12 (yes, about 4 months later) with the invoice - and a threat they will "sell unclaimed items". We arranged for delivery...but Burke's missed the date (they claim, they called the day of delivery to "confirm", and I didn't answer - but I had already scheduled the delivery!!). So, today, 1/25/13 I finally got my generator back! (BUT here's where it gets weird...) The delivery guy demands payment in full. I politely tell him I'll mail the check, and he returns to his car, and SITS for an hour. THEN a Police officer shows up on my doorstep?! After explaining the situation, he left. But honestly, they called the cops on me for saying I'd mail the CHECK!?!?!? I certainly won't be doing business with them again
