Apparently the customer is always wrong. I heard an ad on Pandora that stated buy 2 get 2 when you mention this ad! So I went in and they told me that it did not include protein powders, but they would still give me 25% off of my order (the student discount they advertise on their door). I went home and the next day was listening to Pandora again. I hear the ad once more, and this time I listen for the speed-talker at the end that states all the "catches" that come with the offer, except there was not one. I pulled up the ad, it leads me to their site and I read the entire page, the only thing it says is "retail prices" okay, that's fine. I will give up the 25% off for essentially a 50% off, even if it means I have to spend more, because I know I will use it. I call up there and explain it to them. He tells me that they have cards in store that give the same offer but there is fine print. I say that's fine, but this advertisement does not have that fine print. He says what do you want me to do? I say I want you to honor what your advertisement says. He tells me okay, come down here with a picture of the advertisement, the original receipt and the protein. We will get it for you. Let me also say that I asked who I should speak to about this, he says the manager and I say, okay, who is above you. He tells me there isn't anyone.

So, after all of that, I drive down there, and he tries to tell me that I can't use it on more than one of the same product. I again show him the advertisement and state that it does not say anything about that. He says where does it say that you can use it on protein? And I say that's not the point.

If an ad does not specify, then it is open to the interpretation of the customer. He says that isn't right, but okay, if you want to play games, go ahead and get your protein. Actually, I'll call the owner (again, earlier he told me that there was nobody above him). The "owner" told him that under no circumstances is it to be used on protein. I had someplace to be, and he had already gone back on his word twice, so I left. I won't be returning. Also in the ad they said that their prices "destroy the competition". Without the 25% off, I was buying their cheapest protein, and the first protein I walk up to at GNC is $10 cheaper. Michael was a very nice guy though! The integrity of the store is questionable, however.
