Pill mill. Dr Tonkin talks about how he destroys pill mills but that's all he would do. Would not listen to you, wouldn't schedule any procedures. Wouldn't listen to how the meds were or weren't working, . Nothing was helpful so he decided to do a DNA test to see what meds would work the best for me, then refused to try those meds even though the DNA test said to use those specific ones (DNA tests are not standard they seem to be hookey science so most Dr don't like them. But this was his huge thing and how this is the future and he swears by them. ) He didn't use the info at all. It's a $1600 test you have to fight your insurance to pay for. He was supposed to order a back brace for me. I was with him a year reminded him monthly and never received it. Also it's $700 an appt. Because every single time you will pee and it is a $400 urine test. Tests everything specifically and the amount so there is no room for error that I did like just not the price. They also had a same sex nurse watch you pee everytime, it was uncomfortable but I understood that too. For all the "safety" they do there once you get to the Dr it's pill mill time. You get 3 min. That's how booked they are therefore no time to discuss your condition. It's fine once you have something nailed down but when you are still new to a pain management experience it takes time to get things tweaked. It looks like a legitimate well thought out place but execution fails at the end. And yes people will try to sell their scripts in the parking lot and people will be looking to buy them.

very rude people.they all about the money not the people. no ones on the same page there .they don't know what the other person or drs doing.wont answer questions. very rude staff.cant clear that enough very very rude staff. I would not recommend this place at all. I can go on but enough said .

Very slow and rude!!! Waiting for nearly 4 hours!!! Do not use this establishment!!!! Their staff walks around eating and cutting jokes, ignores patients and the drs are very slow!!

When I begin to look for help with my opioid addiction here in springfield ,mo it seemed no one could direct me to a place for the help I really wanted or that I knew could help treatment programs didn't seem to be able to give me the full program that I wanted until elite pain management opened and they were exactly what I needed great doctors and staff been there since their opening and my quality of life was back in control I had my health and life.
