I would not reccomend anyone to this dental office. I was there for an appointment with someone who is severely disabled, in a wheelchair non-verbal. Prior to bringing her to this appt, we explained the person's disabilities and asked if this would be something they would be able to accomodate. They stated that yes they could see her. The Dentist flat out said total extraction of all of her teeth and recommended dentures. The problem with this is that she made this desicion without ever looking at the persons teeth, never getting an x-ray, not checking her gums, NOTHING! the only thing she was able to do was brush flouride onTWO of her front teeth THATS IT! So the way we see it is the dentist, judging by the persons disabilities decided to just say oh well total extraction full dentures! Just because this woman is in a wheelchair non ambulatory, non-verbal does not mean you can pull all of her teeth, which by the way look clean, healthy no problems! I thought "institional" thinking of people with disabilities was something of the past! Apparently not! Too, many people have the "they are mentally retarded, they don't need that" mentality and it is quite DISGUSTING!! I wish I remembered the Dentist's name but unfortunately I walked out of there as fast as I could. All I remember is that She was an Indian Dentist.
