I have been fascinated with Cardiovascular Medicine since nursing school and fortunately had the opportunity to practice in a Surgical Cardiac Step-down unit. This furthered my curiosity which led me to practice in Critical Care Medicine as an RN and eventually as an NP. Now, as I subspecialize in Cardiac Electrophysiology, I feel that I am essentially advancing my practice and circling back to my initial interest in Cardiology.
