I am a current resident at the Black Oak Apartments. I made a mistake by moving into this complex. I have to kill roaches every other day; I ve even had one crawl on my neck while I was sleeping and on my foot at my desk. I am NOT making this up; I sleep with a nightlight now to help scare them away from me at night.The neighbors let their children play loudly in the parking lots unsupervised and they even bang on my windows. The place is very noisy most evenings and even well past quiet hours on weekends. Additionally, the Manager is frantically disorganized and rarely shows common customer service skills. She comes across snippy and rude. Even the worker from where I rented my moving truck warned me that she would be difficult to deal with.I am a quiet resident with basic expectations: a clean, pest-free, quiet home and to be treated with common courtesy and respect as any resident desires. I will certainly move out at the end of my lease and try to pretend that this nightmare never really happened.
