Unthinkable "Customer Service"

I was late on my bill and the water was turned off. I had contacted the company on the 15th and stated I could pay the bill in full on the 20th. The bill was roughly $150. The 20th comes and the water is disconnected completely. The bill is now over $430 with various labeled fees that Eagle Water Management seems to think are reasonable. They are not only unreasonable but unethical as well. How can you expect a customer who is already struggling to pay their bill be prepared to pay $275+ in "fees"? Even after stating that I could pay the bill if it were simply broken up into two payments, Eagle Water Management stated that this was not possible. I requested to speak to a supervisor and was transferred to the receptionist, Michelle. Michelle stated there was not a supervisor available to speak to me about the issue. Michelle stated that Denise was an owner in the company and was not willing to speak to me either, but could be reached by mail. A company that is "in charge" of so many residential water utilities should employee people that act in a more professional manner and certainly understand that the average Joe or Jane can not simply come up with $275.00 in reconnect fees and deposits. Shame on you, Eagle Water Management, and the people who represent you.

Who leaves a 5 star review while bashing the other reviewers? If you knew how to read you would see that many reviews mention poor customer service and problems receiving their bills. Not every poor review is left by a deadbeat.

My experience with this company is poor: They are not timely, they have no ability to receive payments online and they are mostly unhelpful with issues ranging from billing, receiving payments and dealing with deposits.

Horrible customer service/Manager Lynn, very rude and attitude and hung up on me. They turned off my house water when I already made payment but they didn't post it yet. Now charge me $100/extra in their fines. Rip off company, they don't care!!

wow

People crack me up. Super funny how everyone that leaves a bad review likes to blame the rest of the world for your lack of paying your bills. Get over and grow up people. Or maybe your mommy still has to dry your tears and wipe your rear end for you too.

Like many of the other reviews...

Like many of the other reviews noted, the customer service for Eagle Water Management is horrendous. We have never had a water bill that was hire than $45. Suddenly this month it was $596! I didn't get the bill until the Friday before it was due and they shut it off the day after it was due. Might I add I have never been shut off for one day late, and I hadn't had a chance to call them and ask them about the bill because they close at 3pm. Of course I was certain it was incorrect since I've lived in my home for a year and never had a bill that high. Not only were they not willing to listen to a word I had to say, they also said they don't have an average of what my bill has been the last year because they only keep 3 months worth of bills. I was speaking with "Michelle" and so I asked to speak to a supervisor. She stated she IS the supervisor. When I asked who her boss is, she stated she didn't take phone calls from customers and I would have to write a letter. Well I'm not wasting my time writing a letter that I have no doubt will go nowhere. Long story short, there was a leak and it was going into the sewer line - thus the reason I had no clue there was a problem. I was told by a neighbor that once I had the repair done and showed them the bill they would average it out based on what I normally pay. Since the supervisor stated they don't keep the bills past 3 months, I have little hope that I will see any of my now $700 bill (what was used after the bill was read when they turned it off). And even after I confirmed there is a leak that caused the problem, they still wanted $350 in a cashiers check or money order before they would turn it back on, or they stated they would pull the meter the next day. Oh, and the other half will be on the next bill. No possible way of billing it out a little more since I had no way of predicting such a high bill when we didn't appear to use any more water than we normally do. Such a negative experience when I've never had a problem with any utility bill ever.
