I often bring in my horses and dogs to get their shots and if needed, emergency visits. When my family and I got our puppy, he was given his first shots by the seller. Upon taking the puppy to get his next worming shots, the vet insisted we get the shots one more time (making 4 de-worming shots total) although it was completely unnecessary for the new puppy's overall health. A few months later, we took the puppy in to get neutered. When I arrived to pick him up, I saw a charge for a rabies shot that was completely unauthorized by us, the owners. Just today, we called them to take our other dog in who was extremely injured as an emergency case. The receptionist told us they were much too busy and turned us away - without any advice or help as to assist our dog in care and recovery. Several other people have told me that they have heard receptionists and other personnel complain about the lack of consistency in people bringing their dogs in for grooming, etc. Although Erica is a wonderful veterinarian, her partner John lacks the ability to build relationships with his customers; he criticizes them harshly for problems that one might not be aware of or one may not know how to address. I will not be going back to this business.
