Trying to schedule a cleaning here is like pulling teeth. I called to schedule a new pt exam and cleaning and told them I haven't been to the dentist in three years. I was told that they scheduled me for a new pt exam in 5 weeks but that time might not allow for a cleaning and I probably wouldn't need one "because you're young" (I'm 28). I pressed the issue and said I wanted one and was told several times that I should not need a cleaning because I am young and that they might do one depending "on the numbers" and when asked they said if my gums seem to be receding they would do a cleaning. I called back and canceled my appt because I am used to better and more comprehensive service. They didn't ask why or if I wanted to reschedule, maybe because they remembered me as the client who wanted a dental cleaning for no reason. Take my review with a grain of salt because I didn't actually go in and they might be pretty great. But if those are their policies, and that is how they train their staff, I doubt it. Maybe I am the one who is off and standard cleanings aren't considered important anymore, but I just wanted to find somewhere they were. If I don't need a cleaning because I am young maybe I don't need a dentist either, but I would still like to find both.
