I have one of their dumpster that has not been emptied for 3 weeks. I called the company started once a week and now up to every day. I have been told the same thing " I will give your information and the supervisor will call you". He has yet! So much for customer service! The only department that knows how to do their job is the Billing Department

WTF??? Ever since Santek took over service is awful. I did not receive a new trash can, so I continue to use the one provided by Riverside. So far no issues, BUT they have been late every week. Scheduled to run on Tuesdays ALWAYS run late on Wednesday. Here it is Wednesday and no pickup at all. No number to contact anyone, the Riverside number is disconnected and the number to Santek doesn't connect. Time to get a new provider, done with this poor service.

We been customers with Riverside for10 years with a few non pickup problems that were resolved quickly..We get a letter from them stating they have sold the business to Santek. Ok, fine. we had a dumpster. they picked it up on Fri. Sept. 30, 2016, no notice was given. I called the office and was told that it was not safe for the truck to get in..I asked the girl which was very rude from the start. Are we going to get cans..Well, if you want them, I will put in the order..Are you kidding me..You take my dumpster and I have to order the cans. do not know when they will be delivered.. I asked for the manager to call me back..No call back yet.Am going with a different service.

I agree that their service sucks! My garbage hasn't been picked up cause I don't have the new garbage can (that they never gave me) still sitting at the road and nowhere to put my garbage...does anyone know of another garbage service? I have called and they said they would get it picked up but they picked up my whole street but me!!! paying for service for nothing!@

Riverside's owners retired, I guess, and sold out to Santek Waste Services. Riverside's service left a lot to be desired (both CS and pickup) and the new owners are no better! My trash is by the road around 6:45am EVERY SCHEDULED TRASH DAY! They skipped my house & my neighbor's (who puts his out the night before pickup!) house but refused to accept responsibility for it. Insisted we did NOT have our trash out. I KNOW my trash was out there and it infuriates me when a "manager" refuses to provide quality service but instead puts the blame on the customer. Unfortunately, I'm discovering our area doesn't seem to have other options! I've made 5 phone calls to other companies and it seems no one services our area. So, I'm stuck with rude managers and poor service, I guess!

Today marks the second Friday that they have not came by to pick up the trash in my neighborhood. Very disappointed in their services. If you can, find a different service.

Really don't understand what has been going on. Riverside is NOT picking up trash on days scheduled and ALL phone lines stay busy. Really disappointed in their service.

I would not give them one star, but you have to in order to write a review. I am very disappointed with this company (Riverside Waste). I have paid for trash pick up for twice a week and have been with them for a month now, and they have yet to pick up my trash on the scheduled days, (Tuesday & Friday). I have called several times to complain and have been told several different reason's why it was not picked up, like truck broke down, driver running behind schedule, driver did not have help. I also was told that my trash would be pick up the following day and guess what, it was not picked up. I have a lot more to say about this company but I'm limited on space.

The worst company I have ever done buisness with I called an told them to pick my trash up because it's been there for two weeks. I'm documenting everything because not only is this ridiculous but it's criminal . Stealing from the customer is never good buisness.

PLEASE DO NOT USE! If you can hire a different company please do so. If nobody else services your area, you are better off hauling the trash yourself, it is that bad. I wish I could do negative stars, but sadly I can't. Does anybody know how to report this business a higher authority?

0 stars!!! STAY AWAY! They don't pick up the trash, it's the only thing I expect from this trash pickup service, but they won't pick up the trash. They also don't do refunds! It doesn't matter how much you paid or even if they never pick up your trash, they WILL NOT DO REFUNDS. The person who I spoke to on the phone said " let me make it real simple, you are not getting your money back". That's after multiple calls and requests for them to please pick up the trash, but they took my money without a problem.

This company is no good. I have had problems with them from the beginning like everyone else. This company is stealing from me, since they do not credit or refund for the times they do not show up. I want to cancel with them but I am not sure of any other company that services the Porter area. If you know of any please let me know.

Worst garbage company ever!!! Never picks up on time when you call there is always an excuse - death in family, no drivers available, new drivers don't know route, truck broke down, etc. You pay in advance and they truly don't care when you call and ask on a Wednesday when your trash will be picked up because it was suppose to be picked on Monday. I was told that "might" be able to find someone to pick it up on Thursday but couldn't guarantee it. And of course owner "Billy" is ALWAYS out of town..........On the look out for new garbage service that truly "services" their customer and picks up their trash on their scheduled days and not because I have to call every month and complain till they pick it up.

We have had this trash company for a couple of months. In three months, the have pick up 6 times out of 12. very poor service and called them and hear we have new driver, oh we couldn't find your Ur house, "but you had pick up here before", Overall I can count on my self to take the trash! DONT USE THEM !!!!!

I called and requested refund, or pick up 5 more times to make up for the 1/3 of the times they missed that I paid for. I requested a call back from the supervisor, some heifer named “Miss Kay.” Ho didn't call. Called back & spoke to the most dishonest thief out there. Basically she told me it was my fault that THEY missed the pickups!

I implore everyone who reads this: DO NOT HIRE RIVERSIDE FOR ANY TRASH COLLECTION. YOU WILL BE BETTER OFF TAKING IT TO THE LANDFILL YOURSELF. Not only do they not follow through with what they're paid to do, but their customer service is horrendous as well. That hoodrat Kay ended up hanging up on me...guess she couldn't take the heat.

DONT PICK THIS COMPANY If possible would be given 0 stars these people are nothing but thieves paid delivery and month for a 2yd dumbster. It took them 1 week to deliver it (excuse was they didn't have any when I saw with my own eyes they over 20 of them just sitting there) anyways 3 weeks later and my trash has not been picked up once. I call everyday and get told we'll get it today and nothing they finally told me they were running behind so won't come till Friday so pretty much paying full service for 1 day of trash pickup which hasn't yet happened

I really disappointed. The service is reliable but the guys have broken 2 of my brand new trash cans. I have called mutiple times. Today I spoke with the manager and let her know and her response was that it's windy out today. I told her this happened last week and she said I'm really sorry. Didn't offer to pay for the trash cans or anything. I paid 100 for both and I feel like they should of given us 3 months for free. Its 90 bucks that's far in my opinion. Very disappointing

This company is not even worth 1 star I just canceled my service. In two and a half months they have only picked up my trash 4 times but refuse to give me a refund or even say they were sorry and would fix it.This is the worst company I have ever had to deal with.Taking payment without service is STEALING.
