The Absolute Best!

The Highlands just celebrated 20 years in business in Sparta. I've been a client since the beginning & won't go anywhere else. These people really care! And not about just money, either. The owner, Dr. Carol Ose-Diehl, is an EXCELLENT diagnostician & surgeon. The other doctors are also caring & concerned professionals. The staff is wonderful. They have a lab on premises for most common bloodwork, urine & poop examination, which cuts down on waiting for results from an outside lab. You may occasionally have to wait a little bit at your appointment, but just remember that the time & attention that they give to clients sometimes makes appointments last longer than anticipated or scheduled. But you, too, will get the same time & attention when your turn comes. I've recommended this hospital to many friends & neighbors, who tell me they are very pleased. I've even checked fees at other vets in the area on behalf of the people I recommend to them, and The Highlands comes out on top when it comes to fair & reasonable prices. I've used three other vets in the area before finding The Highlands, and this hospital is by far the best. I highly recommend them.

Cant Be Beat!

I'll admit, I'm not the type of person who takes their pets to the vet once a year. They were all spayed and neutered at this hospital. As I remember, the rates were fair and I didn't have any complaints. Well, last week my Springer Spaniel, Mikee, didn't want his breakfast. I knew something was wrong right away. It had been several years since we were there but they still had Mikee's records! I was embarrassed but they made me feel so comfortable. They told me I did the right thing by bringing him right in! Thankfully, they asked me a bunch of questions and did an exam and blood work right then and there. We walked out with medication to treat Lyme disease and he was better by the next day! I thought the limping had been coming on from old age but he's not even limping anymore! Thank you to the caring staff and great doctor at The Highlands Vet Hospital!

tried them all. Highlands is best.

I have lived in Northern NJ almost my whole life. I have had several pets over the years and am very hard to please when it comes to the quality of care that I pay for .I have tried them all! I'm not going to go into what I saw at other places but I want to say I haven't ever had a bad experience at The Highlands except for an occasional longer wait than I prefer... but they are worth it. I highly recommend these folks for routine and emergency care. I feel like my pets are part of their family because of how attentive they are to every detail.

We've had 15 years good experience with the Vets and staff at the Highlands. They've always been helpful and caring and have helped us give our animals the kind of quality of life the animals deserve. They taught me how to give IV fluids to a sick cat and have provided good advice in all areas.

RUN AWAY FROM THE HIGHLANDS VET HOSPITAL (OWNER Dr. Carol a. Ose-Diehl)

Nurse & firefighter here (we own 4 cats/4 dogs) trust us & DON'T take your loved pets to the Highlands. The negative reviews & town rumors are true. Dr. Carol A. Ose-Diehl would not even speak to us when our pup was brought in choking on an object until we agreed on a fee first. (KEEP IN MIND, WE HAVE 8 PETS & they've gotten LOTS of business from us) NEVER EVER AGAIN..RUN AWAY FROM HIGHLANDS!!! Thank God for internet reviews...read them before u decide & Dr. Carol DOESN'T DESERVE your money!

My animals and I love this hospital!

I felt the need to leave a review for this hospital because I will be moving out of state in the near future. I will miss the vets and staff at the highlands terribly. They have been there for me for 12 years and have never let me down. They bend over backwards to help me with every little thing and every big thing. My pets and I have been through a lot with their guidance. If it werent for them, my beloved 4 legged family members wouldnt be as healthy and happy as they are today! And, I should mention that if you need final moments guidance, they cant be beat. I'll miss them so much! Please, if you are looking for a vet, go to 49 Woodport Rd in Sparta. You will not be disappointed!
