DO NOT hire this company if it is even a company! I am pretty sure it's 1 guy who acts like other people. I Got a quote and all the documents for the move a week prior to moving Then at 4:30pm the night before they are suppose to show up at 8:30 the next morning they call and say they don't actually own the size truck they said and it was going to be $1000.00 more. The so called manager wouldn't even get in the phone so either it's the one guy or this manager is the worst employee ever. Again if you want to get scammed use them.. I will also be calling the Better business Bureau on them. They also go by the name city moving company and chase moving company

I JUST USED THIS COMPANY TODAY TO MOVE MY BUSINESS, I HAD THEM MOVE MY THINGS FOR MY REAL ESTATE BUSINESS FROM FARMINGTON TO TROY AND THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. THE MOVERS WERE SO PROFESSIONAL. THEY TOOK EXCELLENT CARE OF MY ITEMS AND EVEN WRAPPED THEM FOR ME SO THEY WOULDN'T GET SCRATCHED OR SCUFFEED. THE CARE THEY SHOWED FOR MY ITEM MAKES ME HAPPY THAT i CHOOSE THIS COMPANY. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE AND WILL DEFINITELY BE USING THEM AGAIN IF i EVER MOVE. A+ JOB.

The movers who assisted me during my move were AWESOME! However like many former customers before, I was quoted & emailed one amount/pricing & then charged a severely higher amount. When I had questions on the cost, the Mover called the Manager Travis. He came onto the line highly offensive & when I began just asking questions. He was literally yelling at me, accusing me of not trying to pay & over talking me. I just wanted to know why the costs was significantly higher than what was quoted. I definitely do not recommend this company & I am disgusted by how the Manager chooses to speak to customers.

very pleased with the both professional and courteous service that was shown to me and my mom when talking with this company. they did not make us feel pressured in making a decision. and once we went over everything i was very pleased with the quoted rates and offers given to me. i would recommend them to any person looking to move on a budget.

SEE FOR YOURSELF...LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE DOES WHEN THEY GET READY TO MOVE. WE WANT THE BEST PRICE BUT DONT WANT JUST ANYONE TO MOVE OUR THINGS. I CALLED SO MANY DIFFERENT COMPANIES AND GOT BLEW UP WITH CONSTANT EMAILS AND PHONE CALLS, AND THEN CITIZENS CALLED. THEY WERE STILL THE CHEAPEST, AND THE ONLY ONES AVAILABLE FOR OUR LAST MINUTE PLANS. THEY WERE ABLE TO FIT ME IN THERE SCHEDULE AND SAVE ME AN EXTRA $63.
OTHER THEN THE MOVERS ARRIVING 30 MINS AFTER THEY SAID THEY WERE EVERYTHING WENT SMOOTHLY.

There are cheaper then any other moving company that gave us rates. The guys did decent work and was very helpful with the room set up. My living room set was huge and i prayed they would not have any issues bringing it from the basement as the first company did. They took there time and my pieces were moved with no damage and im relieved i trusted the crew and communicated my wishes clearly with them. I would recommend them to anyone else.

My daughter used this company. They broke items and then did not respond to phone calls and emails seeking compensation. Office said they had the resources to move big items and on site movers were surprised. Would never use or recommend. Their site warned against movers using someone elses van. when they showed up they had a rented van???

What could have been a nightmare turned out to be a god send. This company i found on craigslist and automatically jumped cause of the price. i was apprehensive at first cause its from craigslist but the staff reassured me that all moving companies have posted online to draw in more clientele. I was asked to give an inventory if i wanted to get a estimate and i did. The move was completed on a rainy saturday and the guys did great. these guys wrapped my furniture and set my crib up for my newborn. I recommend these respectful movers to anybody. There worth the risk

Citizens called me after I changed my address online. they emailed me and sent me a text. I didn't really even want movers but my family was playing around about helping me so I decided to chalk it up and hire someone. I'm glad I did!!!! It was cheap and the manager and the movers were so professional and nice. I called to schedule my move and spoke to a woman who helped me throughout the whole process. I moved in the morning. I was tired but I didn't do a thing but delegate. I was done within two hours. I would definitely use them again for my next move.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the services provided by Citizens Moving Company. I found the company through a Craigslist posting, noticing the good rates and services offered. For peace of mind and less stress, I hired them to move me from one city to another. In turn, the experience turned out to be a nightmare! Nothing that was quoted verbally during the initial reservation or via email confirmation was done during the move. Many of my things were left at the starting location due to the moving truck being too small to accommodate everything in my household, which were all items listed during the initial reservation. The manager was very unprofessional and provided little accommodation to the situation. Also, there were several hidden fees that were hand written onto the contract after it was signed, towards the end of the move at the destination location. My furniture was damaged and lost. Overall, I felt scammed. I do not recommend this company to anyone...beware!!

I have no complaints with the moving services i was provided with on mothers day weekend. It was a steady stressfree move that didnt cost half of what i thought. We at first was overwhelmed with the different calls and emails but the team at citizens made me feel no pressure and thats why i chose them. i would recommend them for all my future moving needs.
