My daughter was there for a couple months. The staff is rude and uneducated. They are rough with the children. Some of them seem to dislike children all together so I'm not sure why they'd work at a daycare. Id pick her up with a soaked diaper daily. But somehow she's always running low on diapers and wipes!

To make a long story short... we had our 4 year old here for 6.5 weeks and in that time there was zero communication between the staff members, our son didn't receive his medication daily as they said they would do, he had 4 different teachers in this time and the newest one was never told he had asthma and/or a rescue inhaler... the staff didn't seem to even enjoy kids, this was just another paycheck for them. So disappointed in the "care" at this facility and would never bring my child there again

My son went there 3 years ago and still talks about it. :(

My son was 3 and 4 when he attended this preschool and daycare. He used to tell me that his teacher grabbed his arm and said mean things to him. Him and I communicate all the time so I brought it up to the teachers and they denied it and said he has an imagination. But even now he still tells me the same thing and when he refers to the school he says, " remember that horrible school where the teachers were so mean?" I wish I would have taken him out a lot sooner than I did.

I would avoid this place at all costs. The "academy" is run by 2 women; both of whom are extremely unprofessional at best. We had concerns at the beginning when we started our child there a month ago.

***There is no security. I inquired about this again after the Sandy Hook tragedy and was told by the owner that "if someone wants in bad enough they'll get in". To me that is not good enough. Many times I would go in and walk up and down the halls undetected for several minutes.

***Our child cried from the second we told him where we were going and again when we picked him up; he cried uncontrollably and ran towards the door.

***At various times during the day when we would pick him up, he'd be propped in front of a television.

***The teacher's assistant was ALWAYS sitting down and playing on her cell phone. They (with the exception of 2 are babysitters and not teachers.

***Over the Christmas holiday, they were closed 24-26 Dec. We dropped him off on the 27th and were denied care because he wasn't on "the list" (something we we told NOTHING of). Both owner and director were on vacation. We said we wanted one of the them to call us immediately and no one did.

***A random teacher; not someone we knew, called and said "something changed and he could come now." When I went to drop him off (only because I had a job interview that I was late for) I found the "teacher" talking unprofessionally about me and with a lot of dramatic attitude to the other teachers. She abruptly walked away when we entered the room. My child who was upset, since this was now the 2nd time we were leaving him there, was left there crying until finally another teacher came over to comfort him and apologized for the others behavior.

***The supply list contains items for the administrative staff; reams of paper and White Out! They told me after I questioned them who it was really for.

*** resorted to counting diapers; 2 diapers a day were being used!!!

***I emailed them to let them know our decision to withdraw our child (since everyone was on vacation) and received no response.

***I emailed AGAIN and received a curt reply that "they apologize for any inconvenience".

***I went back to retrieve my child's personal belongings and was chatted up by the OWNER about the weather. She didn't look me in the face or even offer an explanation for her employee's shameful behavior. UNBELIEVABLE.

***You can find good quality childcare in area folks. Just look around. We made a HUGE mistake by going there. I call them like I see them and this is one of the worse...By the way they charge $155 per week (CASH OR CHECK). Not worth a dime.

Horrible. Ran by a pair of laz...

Horrible. Let me rephrase that. The staff is great, management is horrible. They like to call parents from their job/work for non emergency reasons to pick the child up. Like 'child not listening'. I can understand if it was an emergency situation or medical or fighting, but if you can't handle a child that's not listening to you, then you are in the wrong business. Melanie is the worst. Just plain lazy with an attitude and her solution to everything is to call the parents.
