This place doesn't even deserve a star. Like the few reviews I only go a few times because it's closer. I cannot stand the service of the cashiers, management sucks. Every time I go there it's a bad experience the nasty treatment. Those workers are very horrible. Nothing gets me more disgusting than a person thinking they're better than you and they all do. Their prices are overpriced. I'm standing in an area where I'm looking for food and one of the workers hit me with the cart I called for management and they ignored the fact.

As an establishment there needs to be proper communication that new policys are in place. I WILL NOT BE SHOPPING AT THIS LOCATION ANYMORE AND WOULD ADVISE OTHERS TO DO THE SAME!!! According to all advertisment it clearly states that they take all Credit Cards etc. Today August 13th I took a cab from my house and back to grab a couple of groceries. When I reach check out to find out that they do not except my Mastercard!! HORRIBLE SERVICE!

Terrible management, this place stink, bad customer services, expired products, just bought fish with bad odor, throw away 1/2 , they should closed that supermarket ,

Just like previous post this is the closest store to where I lived and I decided to go there for a few items because I didn't feel like going to C-town or Key foods and it was the worst, I asked if they give Military discount they said yes but you have to be in uniform or your ID card has to say Active. Who goes in their military uniform to shop for grocery on their vacation. The manager looked and the ID and decided it didn't say ACTIVE, I didn't have the time or energy to argue with him.

Ive lived in this neighborhood for many years and the only reason i Might go to this supermarket is if its an emergency and i absolutely have to. Its dirty and like many other reviewers have previously posted, the customer service is horrible. The managers are even worse. This is the closest supermarket but I always try to do my shopping at C-town on the other side on the Van Wyck. Down Foch ave. They are clean, friendly, great prices and i always come back home with free delivery. Even though they are much further away from me, I would rather shop there because I cant deal with all those ignorant people at Farmboy. By the way, Im Dominican and we love eating platanos, at C-town i always buy 20 for $2. Farmboy sells them 3 for $2 . Its a steal!!

as per the 3/22/15 review I'd have to agree. The supermarket in this neighborhood are all pretty much the same. Rude mgmt, cashiers crowded and dirty. It's sinful that this community has to suffer substandard food stores. I'm also going to shop elsewhere.

Where do I even begin with this review?! First off I'd like to say that I'm giving this grocery store ONE STAR because of the horrifically poor customer service I've experienced there in the past NINE YEARS that I've lived in the South Ozone Park neighborhood. Obviously I continue to go this store because it's the closest to my home but I'll have to stop because every time I go, the nastier the staff's attitude become. For example, I recently went there a few days ago & inquired about a product being on sale & then the MANAGER (a chubby, short Trini woman) snapped at me saying it wasn't with a very nasty attitude. Now, I'm pretty sure that a few reviews won't put these people out of business but if the owners are reading these, they should do something about their nasty staff...Not only is everything over priced but they desperately need to learn a thing or two or ten in Customer service!!!! I'll definitely go out of my way for groceries now because I'm sure after receiving many complaints about their disgusting staff, they haven't even tried to make any changes! Also, they constantly scan one item multiple times & when you go back to fix the problem & get your money back, the cashier's want to yell at you saying that you're a liar BUT after they ran the camera & saw that IT REALLY WAS ONE FREAKING ITEM & they basically stole my money, the cashier still didn't apologize for her terrible attitude....Also, I've attempted to get my money back for products that was expired over a month but I didn't check it right away & they refused....So, if enough people wrote about their experiences at this place, something may be done about it. Good luck to other shoppers! BEWARE!

Run away. This place is awful. Filthy and questionable in their preparation and handling of grocery products. I live in this neighborhood and I severely hate that this place is here. I rather do my grocery shopping in the city or far away from South Ozone Park. I really hate the unprofessional cashiers and the fact that this place seems to run by some "don't give a damn" asian. The mexican guys that does the handling and other physical tasks around the grocery store look thoroughly exploited. I hope the future is unkind to FBCM and it closes. But considering the ignorance and sub par lifestyles of many of the caribbean folks in SOP, this place might still be thriving. But not on my wallet.
