Horrible experience in the South Jordan office! This is so sad because I had such a great experience with my children in the Draper office. I went in for X-rays on a tooth that was bothering me. Everyone seemed to be really nice the dentist came in they did X-rays they had the dentist check me out and when the dentist left the room because they wanted to do some more X-rays. I noticed some dried up blood on the handle of the lamp light they use. It was not my blood it looked like it had been there for a while. I brought it to the attention of the dental assistant and she informed me she did not know where it had come from because there had been no procedures done in the office that morning that had blood involved. So she said it might have been left over and said it was weird and cleaned it off. This however is after the dentist touched the handle and had already put his hands in my mouth!!!! I am horrified! I can't imagine if it would have been one of my children I would have flipped. They just apologized and that was that. When I told the dental assistant I hope the hand that touched that was not in my mouth she said ya I Know. Really comforting!! I would never recommend this dentist office to anyone even after having a good experience at the draper office. If this is any indication of how they sanitize there rooms STAY AWAY!!!!
