I only wish I had found Van Drunen Heating & Air Conditioning sooner! When my A/C went out, I worried as I have a health issue that worsens with heat/humidity. Not to worry....I got an instant response to my call and an almost immediate appointment to fix the problem. It was more complicated than I had hoped, but Van Drunen fixed it more quickly than I would ever have expected. A very nice and very professional serviceman made an extra effort because of the health issue and I was having cool air again in no time and at what I considered a very reasonable cost. I will be using these people for any future heating/AC problems. A good experience from start to finish.

They did everything they said they would, on time and at the quoted price. Our house is on a slab with hot water heat. I wanted to replace my "thru the wall" unit with a ductless model. I got four quotes Van Drunen was the best; Keith ordered materials and the job began as soon as they arrived. The workers were careful and knowledgeable; at no charge they removed my wall unit and even got drywall and insulation to fill the hole. I had a piece of matching siding. A little paint and it looks like it has always bee there.



Some weeks later, I got a follow up call and I asked if it was OK if the compressor unit was slanted. A day or two later I got an email: the slant wouldn't harm the unit, but I shimmed it anyway to make it look better!



I'm satisfied!

First off the quote. Van Drunen Heating was quick to come in, flexible to my busy schedule, and was very thorough (took proper measurements of my condo and even counted the number of vents my condo has, no other company did that).



Keith (who did my quote) was incredibly kind, he answered all the questions I had, and I had quite a few of them, being a new home owner and all.



I got the quote by e-mail within 24 hours and it was incredibly thorough. It listed all the different individual things that would be done when installing the new Air Conditioner, electrical, plumbing, pad, etc. I had 4 different quotes, and no one else gave me a detailed quote like Van Drunen did.



The price was reasonable. As I mentioned, I had 4 quotes from different A/C places, Van Drunen was tied as the most affordable with one other vendor. But the other vendor hadn't been as kind, or as helpful as Van Drunen, so Van Drunen won my business.



Van Drunen Heating kept constant contact with me throughout the process. Scheduling an Appointment was easy, very kind through the whole process, even though I wanted to wait over a month before having it installed.



Finally, The Installation. Installation went without any issues. They called me a couple days ahead to let me know the installer would be a little later than 8am, but no later than 9am. He arrived at 8:30am. It took about 5 hours to complete. He was polite, asking me questions when he needed to know where the electrical box was, and if there were any outlets outside to plug in his equipment. He tested the A/C as best as he could, considering it was a pretty cool day, and he made sure to let me know that if it didn't seem to be working correctly when the weather warmed up, to immediately call in and they would come out and find what the problem is.



The weather is warmer now and the A/C works great :-) No issues whatsoever, and Van Drunen is still keeping in touch with me, making sure that the A/C is working great, and that I don't have any questions or concerns for them to address.



Overall, I had an excellent transaction with Van Drunen Heating & A/C. I highly recommend.

First I wanna say that Van Drunen was very nice to begin with. I called and got service out the same day. Very reasonable prices and a piece of mind. If your looking for a company that will do the job right the first time give them a call asap. Best Hvac company I ever dealt with period...

I have used Van Drunen Heating & Air Conditioning for over 20 years with the most recent service being about two years ago with the purchase and installation of a new Lennox G60 furnace. The technician had my old furnace out and the new one up and running in a matter of a few hours. He was very polite, and knew his job well. I was very pleased. When I call them for a/c service every few years, the service tech is usually the same one who has been here before. He is also a great guy and takes obvious pride in his work. I would not hesitate to recommend Van Drunen Heating & Air Conditioning.

After many call backs to Van Drunen Heating, I ultimately had to get another heating company and an electrician to correct their work.
