While working at Atlantic Gum Paper, Winton Loveland and Saul Warshaw invented a machine that applied tape to corrugated boxes. They called the machine Padlocker, and later invented another Padlocker machine that applied glue to boxes. In 1962, they founded Loveshaw in order to manufacture and market machinery for sealing corrugated boxes. Loveshaw quickly became a leader in its field. The company s products include case sealers, jet printers, case formers and labelers. In 1995, Illinois Tool Works acquired Loveshaw.
