i have used herring motors several times for towing my vehicles. they are very honest people & do good work. the rates are very reasonable. special thanks to tow truck driver mr.jansen miller. he was very professional,efficient & courteous. herring motors must be commended for "Out Standing Customer Service". i very highly recommend this co. thank you very much.

i am a AAA premier member since 1998.i have always used AAA approved herring motors for towing & repairs of my trucks.the technicians are very highly skilled & am more than satisfied with the services.special thanks to AAA for the recommendation.i extend my sincere gratitude to the wonderful staff of herring motors for outstanding customer service.

As President of Amgen Distribution, I began involvement in the final stages as my employees couldn't seem to get resolve with an individual, Eddie Herring, claiming to be the owner. My first issue was that it took them over 3 months to fix what should have taken less than 30 days, accroding to 3 other repair facilities with similar credentials. Eddie was absolutely rude and abusive in every response as I tried to calmly ask about my issues. My primary issue was as the equipment he was to repair had some coverage through our insurance company, he only provided them with the estimate and did not provide a copy to us. Even after repeated attemtps by my staff. Eddie told me he had no responsibility to give us a copy of the estimate, even after I explained to him that since 'we' were the customer, he insisted (with an abusive demeanor) he didn't need to provide us a copy. Then, during the repair, he (his company) conducted unauthorized repairs and once we called him on it, he said that if we didn't pay he would keep our equipment. In my opinion, this is extortion! We were forced to pay for unauthorized repair in order to keep our equipment from being sold at auction.

I would caution anyone from having any work done at their facility. Eddie Herring was a total jerk and it was very evident after the short time I spoke to him of the type of operation he is running. I found other such incidents upon a little research on the internet with J E Herring Motor Co and plan to make a concerted effort to help others be aware of the apparent scam they're running before they make their choice on this facility.
