- I specialize in helping couples build equal, intimate and enduring relationships that bring health, joy and meaning to their lives. I provide support and resources to couples wanting to work through a crisis, resolve longstanding issues, or adjust to major life changes such as becoming parents, starting or ending a job, and retiring. For couples contemplating whether or not to divorce, I offer a brief discernment process. Some of the most common reasons couples seek my help are: poor communication (i.e. arguing, fighting), infidelity (i.e. extramarital affair, cheating), anger management, lack of intimacy or sexual desire, lack of teamwork in parenting, work and lifestyle stress, conflicts related to differences in religion (e.g. interfaith marriages), depression, anxiety and substance abuse.I provide marriage counseling, premarital counseling, couples therapy, and a relationship enrichment program for couples in stable marriages. In addition to my work with couples, I provide individual and family therapy for a variety of issues.My office is private and comfortable, on a quiet street near the ocean in Solana Beachâ€â€an easy drive from San Diego, La Jolla, Del Mar, Carmel Valley, Rancho Santa Fe, Encinitas, Carlsbad and other North County communities.
