After having experienced numerous other shops, I rate Deeply Rooted THE BEST! I was referred by two servers of whom hair I admired as I was dining. Although the shop is 39 miles from my home, it is worth driving the distance. I love the salon's ambiance, the locticians are quick and care for each client's hair. Last, but not least, all of the employees are extremely courteous, hospitable, friendly, and professional.

I’ve been on this website looking for good loctians and I decided to give this place a try and it lives up to its reviews, the shampoo is amazing and the staff is very friendly.

I just love Deeply Rooted!

Deeply Rooted should be better known as Deeply Talented! they use the best products from the shampoo to the oils...don't even get me started on the shampoo girls they should be renamed as professional scalp massagers! My stylist Toya hooked me UP with a classy updo and the crazy thing about it is I've had this style in for a week and a half and its still holding up. I love my new hair home!

I had to share with everyone how amazing and professional deeply rooted is! They were closing up and I walked in just as they were about to wind down, none of the stylists were hasty towards doing my hair they were so polite and kind the entire time. This is just an amazing place to be to get your hair done natural or not!

Deeply Rooted always uses the best products and is a place where you can sit down and relax while getting your hair done.

Deeply Rooted is the mother of all natural hair, they provide TLC and makes your hair grow longer and faster than expected. With their funky styles and ideas my sister and I never leave out of Deeply Rooted looking shabby. I am a proud customer of Deeply Rooted!

Best loc-tians ever, there is no other place like them. The energy is great and they are always prompt and professional! Deeply Rooted always surprises me with new and unique styles for my locs.

It is my honor to write a great review for Deeply Rooted. I walked in and was immediately greeted (I like attention :-) ) . The shampoo lady was friendly and good energy. My coils are fabulous. I really appreciate the fact that the coils are soft and feminine (I've had them done before at another salon and they used some type of hard gel that started flaking). I was in and out in great timing. Thank you ladies for a much better experience then I've had at some other places. I can say that I read a few reviews and thought twice about going, however, I also know that it depends on who's writing the review. So glad I did go :-). These coils are about a week old & super cute so, I'll call you guys in about 2 more weeks.



Thank you for being a upstanding salon and caring about my hair. It's hard to find these days.

Deeply Rooted are like personal Natural Hair Guidance Counselor that always looks out for your best interest. If you bring them a picture of what you want to be done with your hair they will do it with no questions asked. They don't beat around the bush for what they need to do in regards of treating your hair. My process in becoming natural was great. Because they introduced me to semi-natural hairstyles that I could play around with until I became fully natural. So if your are tired of the overpriced perms, household perms that will damage your hair. I suggest you leave and hop on the train to the Natural life and you won't be disappointed.

I arrived promptly for my 2:00 appointment. Ms. Flo confirmed my appointment with Jennifer and even complimented me on my promptness. After waiting approximately 10 minutes Sheka, the shampoo girl informed me that she was ready to shampoo my hair. She returned a short time later and informed me that she was going to be my stylist instead of Jennifer. I then questioned her regarding her qualifications because she appeared to be quite young. I specifically requested a stylists that did two strand twist on a regular basis when I made the appointment. This was the first indication that I should probably leave but I had already taken several of the twist out and quite frankly I looked a mess.



Sheka proceed to tell me to sit in one of the stylists chairs so she could do the maintenance. My second hint to leave should have been when Sheka went to all the other stylists stations to get products and a comb to do my hair. However, the most appalling part of this debacle was when Vivian told Sheka to stop doing my hair and to shampoo her clients hair. Vivian told her to stop to doing my hair several times so that her clients could be serviced. Sheka stopped doing my hair 4 times to shampoo Vivan's clients. When I inquired about what was going on Jennifer explained that who ever booked the appointment did not allow enough time for the service I requested. I am still trying to figure out why no one explained that to me prior to Sheka shampooing my hair.



Vivian and Jennifer's behavior was so unprofessional. Jennifer should have explain the error once she knew the appointment was with her. But what can you expect from a stylists that goes outside to have a personal conversation for 25 minutes and leaves a customer sitting in her chair. I observed this during one of the times Sheka was shampooing Vivian's clients. Her client actually had to ask someone to get her from outside. Vivian obviously did not care that I had an appointment and was expecting service. Her only concern was about her customers. I guess that could be perceived as some form of good customer service. If you are only going to see Vivian.



I must compliment Sheka for trying and Toya who when she finished her customer shampooed Vivian's clients so that Sheka could finally finish my hair. The best recommendation I can make to anyone is to STAY AWAY.

I was so excited as I thought I was finally going to get a good natural "do". I recently cut the perm off and had went with a texturizer for a few months. My hair was about 2 inches long by the time of my appt for which I wanted comb coils and color w/highlights. I made a few calls just to get a consultation and I ended up calling so many times because each time I called I was told by the receptionist that no stylist was avail and to "keep calling back". The first consulation I was recommended to Jennifer and was told I could get the look I wanted however she was not there. The 2nd time I went for a consultation, I called first and was told to come in as Jennifer was there. I get there 15min later and she is gone! Again the stylist told me no problem I could get the color and style I wanted. I show up for my appointment and the stylist asks me what I am there to get done...no hello or anything. When I say color and style she says she didnt have me down for color in addition to the style and has this look like there is a problem. She then tells me she cant do the color but another stylist can and then I will go back to her for the style. I should have left at that point. It took some time for her to do the color as she acted as if she didnt know what to do. ANYway, 3 hours later I get in the styling chair after the color and she tells me she cannot coil my hair because it was too soft and the coils would not stay! I walked out of there with the same style just some color NO highlights... that I could have done myself!

A week later I went to Rozays and guess what?! I got my coils done with no problem.

If I could give a negative star I would but the least I can give is a 1 star.

Deeply Rooted has definitely made some changes and those changes have been POSITIVE. Deeply Rooted is a strong believer in the CLIENT is most important, to satisfy the client. Some people might not think that way. But thats how you keep them coming back. I say come into Deeply Rooted and get excellent service and see firsthand how they interact with thier clients. Do not let someone else's opinion stir you away. When you sit back and think about it people will state very untrue comments because of the guilt they have inside. So the long and short of it is Do not believe everything you read!!!!!!!!!!!

I absolutely love the atomosphere. The staff gets along very well. They have a great time enteracting with the clients. Stacy has been doing my locs for years and they're fabulous. I love the color combinations that she comes up with. The styles that the stylists come up with are simply amazing. I've never seen so much creativity with hair until I came here. The prices are reasonable too. Locked N Forever : )
