Smiths Station Intermediate School has an enrollment of more than 1,370 students in grades six through eight. The school offers classes in math, science, social studies and language arts. It also hosts sessions in music, art and physical education. Smiths Station Intermediate School maintains a library that houses a selection of books and reading and reference materials. In addition, the school provides special education, guidance counseling and after-school care programs. It operates the Beta Club offers several athletic activities, such as football, softball, and track and field.
