I did not have a very good experience with Dr. Haines. I received an eye exam a couple of years ago and bought two pairs of glasses. My prescription was so far off that I did not benefit from wearing glasses. I was told by Dr. Haines that my left eye was so bad that it could not be corrected any more than what he prescribed. I went to Knightdale Eye Center and they gave me a new prescription and glasses that are spot on to this day. They couldn't understand why my prescription was so far off by another doctor. I found it to be an expensive learning experience to shop for a eye doctor.

was disappointed

Had been going there for years. Went for yearly checkup with my child and presented my insurance card. After exam and ordering contact lenses and about to look at glasses, I inquired how much my insurance would pay for glassses and was told they didnt participate with my insurance. They couldnt have told me this before I owed $260? Was very disappointed with the way I was treated. When I complained and asked to speak to the doctor,Iwas dismissed as a patient.

Not happy

I took my son for an exam contacs and glasses. I presented my card upon arrival, they sent my son to the back. After exam and ordering contacs, asked how much my insurance would cover towards glasses when they tell me they don't participate with my insurance. Why didn't they tell me before I owed $257? When I complained they offered free contac solution. Went to a participating provider for the glasses. The frames were free but had to pay some for the lenses. Ended up spending close to $400. Will not be back to Haines vision care!!
