My Family always goes to Our Best Restaurant when we are in town, miss them in Louisville but glad the Original Store is still Open!!!!
I Luv there Beans & Onions and Pork Chops!!!!!

Was calling to order a pie for Christmas on 12/21/17 and no one would answer the phone. I called from 10am-8pm.

I wrote about 600-700 detailed words about this restaurant, and managed to lose it somehow. So rather than try to rewrite it, I'll just say this: we had like, 4 or 5 fried items in this meal, and ALL of them were overfried and tasteless. There were no portions of the meal for either my wife or myself that rose above the level of mediocre. Between us, we had the fried fish, the fried chicken, the fried chicken livers, French fries, green beans, fried green tomatoes and pickled beets. The beets were tasty enough, but how can you mess up beets from a jar? Just altogether, dull, tasteless, and overcooked. If this is "Their Best", I'm afraid they need a bit of coaching from someone who knows this art form better. I'm really sorry to have to say all these things, but they're true. Not good.

Country food at it's finest! The chicken and pork chops are great! Worth the drive!
