Bill is an a**hole to put it simply. I echo Jessica's sentiments. He is rude in every encounter you have with him. But i unfortunately, let my dog stay with him because i had been told he was good.

He's not good and does not look after your dog or keep the owner abreast of what is going on, He got rid of the dog food I left with my dog because he "didn't think the food was good enough." He also made an incision on my dog without notifying me. He also allowed my dog to be bitten by multiple animals and become infected to the point that he administered medicine to my dog unbeknownst to me. All of this happened without my knowledge.

We were only made aware of this when we stopped by to pick up our dog and noticed his terrible condition (he had lost several pounds and looked horrible). Again he berated and made threats to my wife and I when we arrived to pick our pup up (who had learned nothing and hadn't been properly cared for). RUN FAR AWAY! YOU COULDN'T PAY ME TO SEND MY DOG TO THIS HACK! ZERO STARS!

I'm no trainer but I can see a fake a mile away! I am not a fan of clickers or treats they just don't make ANY sense to me! #1 so your walking down the street and your dog does what it's told and you FORGOT the treats oh,oh..now what..so now the dog decides to not listen..same with out the clicker..extra..but what moron would forget the collar and leash right..well that's all you need!Ryan's methods makes sense. You say nothing when correcting them. That means do not say NO, stop, you can't yell, or say ANYTHING until after the dog has done what it's suppose to do AFTER your corrected it.. then you praise with your own FREE LOVE..& THAT makes sense! Good BOY, YES, YES SCRATCH EARS! You don't get a second chance if your dog isnt coming to you and it runs across the street to see the other dog and gets hit by a car. Ryan is a strict trainer, but does it professionally & I LIKE that because dogs NEED disipline or else we are just the human and they are the alpha of the pack. He Will promptly, answers questions and takes the time to call you if you have any problems. I love his methods.* It's hard not to want to treat them their our babies but it just isn't natural and the chain collar bites like the mother's nip & its WORKING FOR US!!!!! YAYHighly recommended if you want the best! Worth drive!

The only reason anyone would complain from what I see is their the kinds of ppl who REFUSE to accept their wrong and they are the problem not the dog! This trainer is on top of things ..so if you want a nice sweet trainer who uses clickers, treats, extra HE'S not for you because those methods do not work when you've got deep issues..maube temporarily but they just don't.
I saw a FULL class today over 9 couples and one going to a 3 week bootcamp.

WANT a great trainer. Bill Ryan is for you!

I had a few problems that started with my Cocker Spaniel, who absolutely refused to come to me, as if it was a game and begging. Bill Ryan talked to me and explained that I had to be more assertive and stop being her "Cookie Jar"!
Not many of us want to admit that we are at fault for our dogs bad habits and behavioural issues. I will fess up and own it...I did it...I fed my Cocker from my hand, from the table, treats when she demanded them and anything else to have a "happy dog"! To be honest...My Cocker had me very well trained!
Well, I talked with Bill about helping me and he saw that I was the enabler and he corrected my behavior as well as my Cocker.
She and I both had to be retrained for us to have a happy and healthy dog/human relationship. I had to realize that I am the leader of the pack. That was very difficult to do, but necessary for me to take control of her and follow my commands.
As owners, we want to spoil our dogs and expect good behavior, sometimes resorting to forms of abuse that damage the dog. They are not humans and hear "blah, blah, blah" and think they are being rewarded or punished with the tone of your voice. I appreciate his correction of my bad habits because, after all, I did seek his help and it was worth every dollar!
So please, seek the help of Bill and you will not regret a moment of his training nor expertise! I know, because all is awesome with my Cocker and I after she attended his Bootcamp and we attend continued education in his weekly classes, which are free for life. Please take advantage of the classes. My Cocker came back from Bootcamp happy and healthy!
You have to stay in control as Bill gave you the tools and knowledge but can't make you use them. You can't blame anyone but yourself if you don't flow through.
Bill's training requires owner follow through and consistency for that long, happy life with your fur baby!
Bill, thank you for all of your knowledge and help!
Roxy and her Mom (now pack leader)

Bill, Do you tend to get a lot of clients with talking down to people in the manner in which you did to me? I called Bill on a reference from a nice lady named Roxanne, he proceeded to speak very abusively to me. After speaking to me for less than 1 minute, knowing nothing of my story or my dog; His words were exactly "What you are saying makes no sense, beta dogs do not need an alpha personality." I told him, that I am sorry I am just telling you what Roxanne said about my dog.(who is a very nervous and insecure beta dog)" He then states in a very condescending and rude tone "I am not talking to Roxanne, I am talking to you. I rehabilitate dogs, NO ONE ELSE." I politely bowed out of the phone call. Bill you should know that your verbally abusive tone of voice caused a trigger in me because I was abused as a child. You should treat people with RESPECT, you do not know them until you give them a chance and you don't know what they have been through. GET OVER YOURSELF. I will tell you what your mother should have "You get more bees with honey than vinegar." So unless you enjoy being talked to like you're a child. Avoid this man.

When I brought my german shepherd puppy home I didn't have a clue on how to train him or be the "Pack Leader". When I started calling all the local trainers to ask question and get help because my dog was out of controll no one would even talk to me because he was only 8 weeks old. Every one told me I would have to wait until he is 4 months. When I called Ryans Training his wife told me that to start NOW. I did. I put him through their bootcamp and I was glad I did. W.T. Ryan really cares about the dog and there for the dogs lifetime for any types of questions that you may have. They stand by their commitments to really help you not just 8 weeks in and out then left on your own. Thanks Ryan's Training Center!

The REAL deal!

If you're looking for correct training for you and your dog, this is the place and he, Bill Ryan, is the man. This is a no-nonsense way of training your dog (WITHOUT the use of treats), to be a canine good citizen by training you to be the pack leader. It doesn't matter if you have one dog or a number of dogs as I do; this program works every time and works WITHOUT intimidating your dog into submission. You've tried the rest, most likely with limited to no success? Now, come try the best; if you truly love your dog, get him/her off to the best possible training you can give it, you won't be sorry. Bill is also an expert in the rehabilitation of dogs that have bitten people and/or other dogs, especially those considered to be the aggressive breeds such as Pitbulls, Rottweilers, etc.
