Meet Your Friendly Audiologist Dr. Douglas Steinberg has been helping people with hearing loss in the Chicago area for more than 10 years. Dr. Steinberg gained experience in a wide range of medical environments including director of the audiology department of a large, renowned otolaryngology practice with involvement in HA research. He has a high-level of experience helping a variety of different types of patients. He earned his Director of Audiology (Au.D) from Rush University (ranked top 10 nationally of over 70 programs). Dr. Steinberg has the depth and breadth of experience to handle the most challenging cases, but counts among his greatest strengths his interpersonal skills and bedside manner. He enjoys his work, particularly solving patient's challenges. Dr. Steinberg lives in Chicago's West Rogers Park with his wife, Sarah, and his six children. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his family and participating in community events and his synagogue.
