The gaslight saloon has been around for a long time since at least 1980's if not before. Many of the locals can recall going into this bar and being brought right back to that time period with the décor of bright orange wrap around couches facing one another privately with a round table tucked into place with mirrors all over reflecting light and images at every angle. It was a great flash back of history and also great to get a feel what that time period was like. Sad news struck when a fire broke out a few years destroying all most all that was inside but, that wasn't going to stop the bar from reopening back up. Now the bar that once was maybe what folks called a dive is considered the best Gem in Sioux Falls SD completely remodeled with an inspiring Vegas (cosmopolitan) touch with prism gem diamonds hanging from the celling reflecting light like once the mirrors in the establishment did as well. What use to be wrap around couches are now replaced by a beautifully done vinyl booth arrangement with granite table tops matching the elegant bar. The establishment is a "MIND SHOCK" and will get you and your friends every time you approach from outside to in. The bar has excellent staff and service is spot on with a full beer and liquor to accommodate to any ones desire. Did I mention 2fers every day MON-SAT on every thing and actual 2fers and not like those other places that say 2fers and then charge you for 2 drinks!! not here real 2fers :)
