I tried the fried chicken, with mashed potatoes and green beans. The chicken was okay. It would be nice to have hot sauce available. The chicken itself was piping hot. The potatoes are so-so: in a place famous for their Butter Burgers, the potatoes could probably use some. But the gravy isn't bad. The green beans were far too salty, nearly inedible. I only got one tiny pat of butter for the bread, which wasn't enough. The music had been turned off, which was nice. The usual diet of oldies at most Culver's is unpleasant. Oldies just make me feel old. The new floor staff isn't at 100% yet but you can tell they're attentive and trying to learn the routines. If I'd had a Butter Burger and fries, I'd certainly give the place an extra star or more, and I'll be back. But on this trip, the green beans literally left a bad taste in my mouth.
