Provided by SuperpagesSince we live with our pets 24 hours a day,its important that vets listen when we tell them what is normal and not normal for our pets and that something is amiss and we hope that we can get the point across without offending them.If you add stress to the mixture because your animals are sick and your sincerely hoping that they will understand and not take it personal and you are new and expected to trust blindly, it is a cocktail of uncertainty that makes me swear that I will never go to a vet again. But I do because I want to avoid a broken heart at all cost.So listen up vets, its not about you,its not about who is right or wrong and most of all it is not a control issue. We all walk through your doors because we try to avoid a broken heart at all cost. If you remember that you will appear much older and wiser in the eyes of others.

Provided by YP.comWe recently moved to Simpsonville and formerly lived in New York. A neighbor referred us to Cedar Lake and we have been so grateful to them for sending us straight to the best place we could leave our dog. They are the kindest, most considerate people you could ever meet. We can go away knowing that our beloved pet is being well cared for. We agree with the praise others have given them and would not go anywhere else.

Provided by YP.comI used to live in Simpsonville and I was right around the corner from Cedar Lake. Now, I live in Mauldin. I have to drive about 10-15 min to get there but we still continue to go to Cedar Lake due to the type of love and care they give to our dog. I would highly recommend anyone to go there. Hey, if I can drive 10-15 for a good animal vet, you can too!

Provided by SuperpagesI have taken my dogs here for several years and couldn't ask for a better experience, both personally and professionally. Everything from boarding to routine checkups to a broken leg have been taken care of in a compassionate way. I love (!) my dogs and am glad I have a vet that I can trust to take such good care of them!

Provided by SuperpagesTook my dog in when he was vomiting a lot, and they fixed him up quick. They gave him some fluid to rehydrated him and medicine that clear his stomach fast. Nice people.

Provided by SuperpagesI have taken my cat to Cedar Lake for two years. Although he hates traveling to the vet, they are very good with him there. Since he is getting older, he gets their senior exam package which even includes full bloodwork to show me his organs are working well. The preventative medicine they do helps reassure me my little man will be healthy fo another ten years!

Provided by SuperpagesI would highly recommend Cedar Lake Animal Hospital to my friends and family. I have taken both of my dogs there for that past three years and always have a wonderful experience. All of the doctors are extremely compassionate and knowledgable. They called the day after my appointment when one of my dogs was sick just to make sure he was feeling better. The prices are reasonable, but more importantly, they love my dogs.

Provided by SuperpagesTold me my dog needed 300.00 xrays and would gaurentee me this would find out why she was sick. Paid the 300.00. Later on was called and told Xrays didnt show anything but she would need a 500.00 dollar surgury. Told me I could just sign her away to them and they would do the operation for free to save the dog but then they would put the dog up for adoption for 45 dollars! Doesnt make sense, that you would charge the pet owner who LOVES her dog 500 to do the surgury but if you get her and put her with someone who might not take care of her, they only pay 45 dollars!?? Never will do bisnuess again and will tell everyone I know about this place that is taking advantage of people and their love for their pets

Provided by YP.comWe've used the boarding services at Cedar Lake on a few different occasions and they excel above any of the other boarding facilities in the Greenville area. The care provided to our two dogs - boxer and dachshund - is great! Last year during our second vacation our boxer became very anxious and got sick. The staff made sure to alert us and kept us at ease. By the time we arrived back home our dog was feeling much better! We're positive it was the special attention and love provided that helped him feel less anxious.
We'll continue to use their boarding services and would recommend them to anyone over any other facility.
