My son and I went to The Simi Valley Vallarta for the first time yesterday. We live in Moorpark and have watched business after business leave our community including Albertsons. I finally went to the S.M. location and we were so impressed by the way the employees greeted us and the selection was amazing. Cooked foods, prepared food for cooking at home (loving the chicken tacos) prices were way lower then our stores in MPK. I can't say enough of how much I enjoyed my first experience shopping at Vallarta’s and will be a regular going forward. Well worth the short drive.

I recently received some coupons in the mail for Vallarta . It appears that Vallarta is committing fraud due to false/deceptive advertising.



I attempted to use the "$2 of ANY FRESH BAKED BREAD FROM BAKERY", but was told that it ONLY applied to the items in the picture, which is absurd, as well as false since I suspect that other items of the same type would be included.



The wording does NOT state any limitation other than that it has to be a fresh baked bread from bakery, which the bread that I attempted to use the coupon on was most was.



I suspect it is just a means to draw people in and then not honor the real coupon and make more money.



There was a second coupon for a free loaf of bread, which did not mention which bread it applied to. You have to ask what it applies to or else you will get charged for your "free" bread.
