My Mother insured her home with these folks for years. She died in March, in October the bill for 2011 came. I called them to see what needed to be corrected. I was informed that the home was not legally covered since my Mom's death and that the insurace rep could not talk to me since I was not on the policy. She stated she was cancelling coverage immediately. I called Farmers, explained the situation and they were more than happy to insure the home and contents and actually saved me $400.00 a year over what Mitchell had been chargeing Mom for the exact same limits and coverage. I would advise anyone to run not walk away from this local small business.
