My mother was my first teacher. She was trained as a Registered Nurse in the 1960's; at that time back massages were part of the daily hospital experience. Due to injury and pain she required 3 cervical spine fusion surgeries, the first 2 in 1983 & last in 1997. As such I grew up with a Mom in pain, what gave her relief were the healing hands of her youngest child. My Bio: Michelle graduated from Utah College of Massage Therapy, class of 1999. Michelle holds certifications in Fascial Therapy, Integrative Reflexology, Reiki II, Cancer & Mastectomy Massage, Aromatherapy, Scar Therapy, and experience with many others. A typical session may include multiple modalities to create a customized experience. One of the greatest gifts she shares with her patients is the ability to self-heal. She does this through educating patients in body mechanics, stretching, and utilizing various self-help tools. She specializes in treating chronic conditions such as neck and shoulder pain, migraine headaches, low back pain, & TMJ dysfunction.
