- NRA Basic Handgun Shooting Course: Firearm Safety, Safe Gun Handling, Revolvers, Semi - Automatics, Handgun Cleaning, Child Access Prevention, Range Live Fire. With prior arrangement, I will bring several handguns for student use. Although this course should last half a day, you may want to bring lunch. Louisiana Concealed Carry Course Upon successful completion of this course, you will be given a certificate which you will copy and mail to the state police along with all required items as listed in your package. I cannot provide fingerprinting, passport photo, or notary services. Fingerprinting can be obtained from your parish sheriff's office. Photo and notary services are available locally. With prior arrangement, I will bring several handguns for student use. This course should last all day; you may want to bring lunch.
